I also think Chaos would be able to travel into space, but that isn't that hard when the Chaos Gods decide they need an outerspace champion and gift Buzz Lightyear like wings and helmet to some warrior. While Dwarfs would undoubtdly have the tech to build a space craft, their resistance to new ideas, as well as their love of staying earthbound, would be severe limiting factors. Some Slann uncovers the mechanism for flying some ancient Old One craft, and decides that sending a few Skinks to the moon is somehow in the Old Ones plan. They would be cheating a little, but I can see the Lizardmen take to the skies as well. Why fly a craft into space and worry about all those pesky calculations, when the craft can fly itself? I imagine their space craft would be more like giant, metal bats than what we think of as space craft. They have more of a regard for life, but also more of a capacity for the finer technical aspects of space travel.Īgain, tech and magic, but this time with the added bonus of Daemon possessed machines. Many of the same considerations as Skaven, since they have access to both technology and magic. Through sheer determination and terror I can imagine that the Skaven should be able to launch some kind of craft. However, the Skavens access to magic and magical materials, along with their total disregard for life, more than makes up for their attention to finer details. True, actual-world space travel requires some precise engineering and skills. Their craft would in no way be reliable, and as has been pointed out, it is most likely a one-way trip. ![]() ![]() Of all those on the Warhammer world, there are only four groups I can imagine would even begin to be able to approach space travel. I have had a couple of story ideas that revolve around Skaven launching themselves into space. ![]()
